Went to a Bel Canto show in La Tuque (QC, Canada) where Soprano Stéphanie Lavoie and her brother Jean Sébastien Lavoie performed.

I was just sitting back and only shot 2, 3 dozen of pictures with limited adjustments tweeking (not wanting to disturb fellow show goers).

All with K5+da* 50-135.

I'd like to tell you this is just bad WB or faulty coloring by the K5....but unfortunately, the hair color is exactly what it looked like that day. Most difficult to shoot that wild color, but I did what I could!

Regards!

FS...I like your processing, it is pretty vivid, but I like that in your subject matter. The bokeh in the last shot is very nice, fine shot!

Not much for you guys today......I did shoot you a squirrel...just add some onions and salt & pepper and he will be plenty tasty!

I had to wait a while....I didn't want to shoot him in the back!

When I became confined here back in September I could look out in the Woods of Otis and it was all a lush green. I've been in here so long now everything is turning....

Regards!

I shoot a lot of birds on my cedar fence through my office windows, but their feet are usually cut off by the little top rail. I'm always happy to get one with their feet showing!

Regards!

Yes, Otis would love the K3....and I might too, we'll see a little later on when my foot is healed and I can walk again!

I've been trying to shoot some card fronts for Christmas cards.......I think I will go with a Cardinal again this year, either a male or female, they are both lovely on a card front.
So far this is the best I have been able to shoot this week, it is a little noisy, but will not show printed on linen paper. I have one more week to try for some better shots...and some females.
It does have that "wintery look", and today it is winter, drizzle and 34F.

I still have an original K5 and am shooting with it. Having a K3 doesn't change my enjoyment for it one bit...

From this morning.
