Rondec and FS999 thank you for your assistance.

This the the code I get from flickr when I view the photo and choose the icon that looks like </> on the sharing options.
And if i just copy-paste it in the post I get plain text as follows,

<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/vassilis_mantas/11252094573" title="_IGP0070.jpg by Vassilis Mantas, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3738/11252094573_3aa9391927_c.jpg" width="716" height="800" alt="_IGP0070.jpg"></a>

I think the problem is that under that link is a button that says HTML or BB Code. You need to have the BB Code, not the HTML one. It should look like this: url=http://www.flickr.com/photos/85914716@N03/11243079775/][/url]
[url=http://www.flickr.com/photos/85914716@N03/1124307977...

When I use the code under the pin icon (I think I am on the new interface of flicker that is why I can't match exactly your descriptions with what I see...and I can't find how to get to the previous one) then when I paste it here I get the picture shown, as in my previous post, but I don't have that nice caption you have under your photos with your name and the flickr link....though your last posted photo miss them as well!

I have intentionally broke the link by subtracting url at the beginning and http in the middle

As long as you guys get your photos in here, I'm happy! I use the method FS recommended...works for me!

Who killed Cock Robin?
I, said the Sparrow,
with my bow and arrow,
I killed Cock Robin.

Just curious? Does anyone else remember this old childhood poem? Cock Robin - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
My Mom used to read it to me when I was a little kid, I always liked to hear it.

He doesn't look like a cold blooded killer, does he?

A cold 27F here this morning. Birdies were lined up on the fence waiting for feed before daylight. Many of these young birds have never seen or felt cold weather before. Don't worry, Mrs Rupert was out there with a big bucket of feed before the sun came up! At first, when I broke my foot, she complained bitterly about having to feed the birds and other animals, now she is more concerned than I am about making certain they don't go hungry in the cold!

Regards!

Hope you're up and about soon. You could do worse for company while laid up than these terrific birds.

Ah Ok, the new interface has removed that second line and you must click every time on the pin and reselect the size .
I think I will go back to the old interface...

Nice little bird Rupert !

Click on the photos for details...

All great FS, but #2 and #3 are special to my eyes. The colors in #3 are wonderful!

How about a Christmas squirrel with a story?.....

The squirrel is here....

The story is here...feel free to donate!

BTW- Thanks JVA59! I give it an effort, if that counts for anything...sometimes I "do good" ...sometimes not, but I do keep shooting!

A really terrific set! I found the windswept field especially captivating.

Not much shooting today......busy paying bills and loafing......

Here is one using the K5 filter "bleached process" ....kind of strange to me?

A woody shot with the "natural" setting.......Woodies are just starting to show up, I'll try to get a better one soon. He was really digging into that fence rail! Must be something down there!

Here is a better K5 Woody from last year....

I love Woodies, but not at 6AM when they are pecking on a tree limb just above my bedroom window!

Regards!

This little guy showed up late...but wanted to get in on the posting...so I'll close out this day with a little Carolina Wren.

Cute little fellows! Last year I had one fall out of the nest and was not quite ready to fly. I kept him in my shop for a few days and fed him. He learned to fly and I set him free. I always wonder if this is him, he comes to my window at least once a day and peeks in?

Regards!

Thanks Jean....I should have been using 1/250 instead of 1/125 because a Carolina Wren is never still for even a second. They are the most jittery little birdies around, constantly moving. Sort of like Chickadees, but worse.

I think I will shoot some handsome squirrels today if they will pose for me?
Regards!
