birds wouldn't let me sit next to them today so I was forced to shoot the sunrise

Nice shot. I wonder how did you get good exposure for the last but one photo in your first post. I always have trouble shooting sunset directly. Its either under exposed on the surroundings or over exposed on the sky....

FS- All fine work, but the last two are excellent! Love the bee shot!

I need to get away from the high ISO, but it is so dark and cloudy today....

Yeah, the bird is fine and the composition is OK, but the noise is very bad. Useable for a card front, but not much else.

Shot these this morning, what a difference low ISO can make!

At a distance of around 50 feet out the window @ 500mm---ISO 160.

Fluffing up for the cold weather!




Squirrels are handsome at any ISO...according to Otis!

Excellent shots, Rupert.

Chickadees are my favourites, but they seldom remain in one spot long enough for me to get decent images. I got these two quite a while back at our local bird sanctuary. The nuthatch was looking for food and came to my son's hand, but left disappointed!
