Signs of Life

The Maine Woods. Spring is in the air. With our eyes starved of green after a long winter, dig in! Walking in the woods with my K-5 and SMC 67 105MM f/2.4. Medium format lenses good enough for cropped sensor digital? I think so.

Some sunset pictures from last night using my DA15.

Now I notice I missed a spot. It was very dusty in that area and I got some on my lens which I didn't notice until processing.

The road which was the source of the dust...

I really love this K-5! It was effortless to move from the K20D to this one. I think it fits my hands even better.

My kids love the rain. Not sure why, but my daughter, in particular, will go outside just to run around in a rain shower. Elliot prefers an umbrella, though.
The "old" K5 is still a very capable camera and my trusty companion. I have been to Florida recently and could have not been more pleased with the results. Moreover, I realized that 90% of the scenes I'd like to capture can be managed with the Tammy 17-50 and the DA*50-135mm.... Unfortunatley it takes some time to process the shots... here's a first one:

You guys are moving too fast again to keep up......will mention I loved that little spider by Luisalves...I love spiders!

Otis wanted to post one of his handsome magnificent tail....I guess that is important to a squirrel? He also wanted to show he is eating an apple and sticking to his diet to lose some ugly belly fat.....says it is hurting his stamina. I think all those girly squirrels are what's hurting his stamina!

Regards!

Nice shot Dave! I could see that as a print ad or on the cover of a travel or motorcycle magazine
