Thanks, FS999. That means a lot, given how much I admire your work.

Thanks a lot ! The first one is Charlotte (6) and the second is Marianne (8) ... it was a fun night.

The sharpness of the second capture really gets to me. Pixel peeping, I can count all the eyelashes, etc. Great job there, K-5 !

That's a great shot, through the window glass and hand held and you can still count the hairs on his belly.

I have heard that squirrel can taste pretty good if prepared properly. I wonder if corn fed squirrels taste any different that free range squirrels.

I have an old french book named "hunter and gourmet" with some interesting recipes !
It can be roasted on spit, cooked in a cream sauce, grilled à la Hossegor (with a good advise : "if you have only one, don't invite for diner"). You can even prepare it like a stew, but you need two or three of them

Superb shots TroutHunterJohn !

Merci, Frédéric ... and great tip for the Scotch tape; never thought about that one. Will install and had to shoot "on the fly" since the girls remain static only for a few seconds at a time ... Salut, J

Thanks guys! The credit goes to the K5 and the Bigma...and the fat squirrel, of course!

Even the thought of eating a squirrel around here could cause a vicious attack by Otis' Army of Squirrels, like the time they ate up my Jeep wiring harness at an expense of over $700, so I just pretend I don't read such comments.... Anyhow, once you cut away all that fat....would there be anything left?

A frontal shot taken at the same time.....these are "eating machines". Sometimes you hear a loud blast, the windows rattle a little, and you know one just ate his way into "Squirrel Heaven".

Regards!
