A dream lens!

Nice work, FS. I looked at many of your landscape images and noticed that you often combine 2 images; one shot at 30 sec, and one at 90 sec. I'm curious to know why you go for such long exposures and why you combine 2 with different time exposures. Is this another way of getting at what people do to create HDR (3 or 5 images at different exposures to capture dynamic range) or are you doing something different.

I really like your work and am interested in knowing more about your fine technique at capturing stunning landscapes.

Thank you John !

The problem is to correctly expose a long exposure shot. If you under or overexpose, your wait was useless.
So I thought that if I use multi-exposure I could correct the exposure by exposing more or less to compensate the first exposure, and it works !
I hope Ricoh will add one day the bright/dark aera function with multi-exposure...

I friend and I went to an unusual place to shoot the Seattle skyline in the evening a while back. Here is a sample of the product; and, number 2 is an image of my friends camera taking shooting the scene.

Nice work RAAT. Can I presume that is the 15mm prime you used for those 3 wonder images?
