Looking through some old photos and came across this one from April 2013. This is the Sunken Lane at the Antietam Battlefield National Park. Scene of a very bloody battle during our Civil War. The one day battle is still the bloodiest single day in American History. After the battle. you could not walk in this lane without stepping on a dead body.

Thanks for the like. Kind of your neck of the woods.

I was in Yellowstone in mid May. Still plenty of snow in the southern part of the park. It was six feet deep along some of the roadsides. Great time to see bears as they were down low looking for winter kill to scavenge. Of course some of the roads were not open and one was closed due to slippage of the mountainside it was built on. Anytime of year is great in that area.

It was suppose to be sunnier but I kind of like the little patches of colours the sun made on the hills.
