Brilliant clarity and sharpness in that shot Jeff!
What lens did you shoot it with?

The Joy of Low ISO

If anyone had told me when I bought the K-5 it would be it having an ISO 80 that I would be most pleased with, rather than it having an ISO 8000

no filters necessary in the taking of this photograph! and it was still a matter of choice how much detail I wanted in the shadows, it would have been possible to have this shot with no clipping at either end.

FA43mm f1.9 Limited with a 12mm extension tube. It's my lens of the month for the Single in May game. (see link in my signature and see Flikr as well).

I'm going to try that combo with my 43Ltd Jeff, we'll see what I can get. Maybe a flower, maybe a Handsome Squirrel.......wanna guess?
Best Regards!

BTW- It was a very nice shot you posted...my favorite color of flower.

Couldn't resist posting a second volume of Truckfest pics. I was supposed to goto the BMF show today

and snap bikes and leather but I'm too fatigued.
