Galah

A male Galah (Cacatua roseicapilla) which is a medium sized cockatoo found throughout most of Australia. This specimen was in the Ironbark trees in my back yard this afternoon. Photo taken in shade on a cloudy afternoon.

K5 with Sigma 100-300 f4 DG EX; 1/500th, f5, ISO 3200.

Crop, background noise reduction, and sharpen in Photoshop CS5.

Oh! I love that K5 sensor! It's so much better than previous models. Love the color rendition and quality of image.
