Those are really good shots Dave....and I love your deck! I have a great deck....but it is so damn hot here we never use it....maybe a few days in the Fall or Spring.
You shoot until your finger cramps today! Can't wait to see more!

Best Regards!
haha thanks Rupert yeah I hear ya - the Deck is new this year (we did have a POS) - but it has rained sooooo much here we have not had a lot of days to enjoy it. Hiopefully August will be better.

Turn weeds into Peanuts ! Outstanding I will look for that - must be under custom settings or perhaps Otis Settings

Paris-Montmartre at night

Some pics taken during my stay in Paris, handheld at night to check out the high-ISO abilities of the K-5

Thanks CEWren I'll take some more of the deck later we do love it , it is an outdoor living area for sure. (when it is not *@&#^#* raining )

Appears we have people comming over tonight - can't get away until tomorrow to take some real shots .... so as Steve Martin was once found of saying ... Welll EEEEEEEEEEEEEEExcUUUUUUUUUSSSSSSSSSE me

Shots below are from a quick run to Costco over the lunch hour with the DA 35LTD taken @ ISO 6400 man ..... we are going have some fun !!!!

THe POLISH HOTDOGS are back !!!! Hot Dog and a pop for $2.00 still the best quick lunch deal in town

And what goes better after a hotdog (or well any food actually).....than a trip to the adjacent Costco Liquor Store ..... in true Costco forum buy 'em 55 at a time

One reason I got the K5 was for it's ruggedness to be used during a trip to Alaska. It performed wonderfully there.

It is not possible to comment on all the great shots here, but we see them, make no mistake! There are some fine shooters posting and some just "regular shooters" like me, but all are enjoying the great abilities of this fine camera.

Love viewing here! Dave, you should be ashamed to post that delicious Dog, you know how that makes stomachs growl and mouths water! Great shot! Otis...never seemed to notice it...but he did notice that beer! How much did you buy and where do you live........

A different rendition done in PhotoScape......3200 is just a normal for the K5.

Very nice images.
Pentax manual referes: temp. - 10º C to 40º C. Is that true? (kkkkkkkkk)

Indeed some great shots here - that iceberg is impressive. Great shots all - as Rupert said too many to comment on but great to look at them. And Rupert I only bought 18 MGD's almost bought the 55 pack (works out pretty cheap here - about $1.40 /beer) ... next time !

very nice shots and settings, guys....i am looking forward for my first prime as walkaround lens...DA 35 Macro or DA 40 are in competition..when i get my K-5 back, regrets @ toothpic: I also sent it in as there were stains (or dust only?)on the sensor....and so i wait inpatiently at the moment..:-(

Lovin' my new K-5. The K-x did nothing wrong and was awarded an honourable discharge.
