Question? Are you guys using the in camera filters for your B/W shots or doing them in post processing? Just curious...nice shots!
Regards!

Some beautiful work on this site, ladies and gentlemen!

Finally had some time to get outside during the "cool" part of the day (already 82* and 78% humidity at 7:30 am ) for some learning time with the K-5. I'm liking the camera and lenses.

re-arranged files - new version of pic

Been there many times......you have a lot of nice shooting opportunities in that area, the K5 will give you some real pleasure down there!

Nice work Twitch !
Tougefc - now that is concentration !
Pentikonian - Enjoy thats a good start !

Strapped on the Bigma and went for a mid day stroll in the most harsh light (had a cpl to help) - right out of the camera @ 500mm - converted from DNG ==> JPG no adjustments - pretty happy with this one

????? The Squirrels? No, they are better looking than Mrs Rupert, but I won't tell her that, it would hurt her feelings and break every bone in my body all at once.

She does look better around trees...

Rupert, I use Nik's "Silver Efex Pro 2" for my B&W conversions; it may not be cheap but it is good value
