It's been so long since we got rain that my daughter had to go out and play in the rain this weekend. I grabbed my camera, but goofed up the settings. I intended to set the ISO to Auto with a high limit of 5000. Instead, I set it to ISO5000 (not Auto). So this shot was ISO5000, f/6.3, 1/1000s, taken with the DA18-250.

I am in Southern Maryland - 25 minutes east of Washington DC, 25 minutes south of Annapolis and 40 minutes south of Baltimore . Pretty nice area as I am close to practically everything - your area I believe is pretty nice also, rolling green hills, lots of farms, am I correct?

ah, we pass thru that area to get to my brother and sister in laws... they are around Leesburg VA. nice area! Yes, I live in a small farmers town right near gettysburg. Beautiful hills/mountains... I do love this area! We are close to nothing though

Just starting to scratch the surface of my K5 and haven't had a whole lot of time to play with it, but already seeing a huge jump in capability from my K7. So many good photos in this thread. Simply inspirational.

Welcome to volume two

I'm currently sorting out the pics from my Stock car race meet. But nearly 4,000 of them is taking some time, so in the meantime some more docklands pics.
