Here is the first shot I really like, had some other good ones but I like this the best, very sharp btw. It looks a little less sharp here because I had to downsize it and when uploaded here it seemed to have take a hit, but the quality is still seen imo.

Seriously pefoto01 - I am sure I have seen you comment on dozens of k5 pictures saying they are out of focus I know your trying to decide on getting a k5 but just seems strange you don't have one but always are replying with same comment.

Sorry not trying to be rude but I am wondering what your point is?

I also will say I am not seeing OF issues that you are.

Great shots everyone

Agree... they look terrific and I must add that there are a few just like the person you mention posting in the K-5 threads nothing but negatives

Cheers

Now if anyone could let me know how to upload files larger that 1.5mb i would greatly appreciate it.
Pls learn to simply resize your images to something like 1000px on the wide size instead, and jpg reduce by 20%.

There is no need to directly link 3000x4000 pixel, multi-megabyte image files for people to see your image in decent quality.

F111

Taken today with a background of grey skies as the F111s took their last flight. This is the 'famous' Dump and Burn for the second-last time.

Beautiful pix, kind of scary

Your art is very nice. But what scares me is that the K5 and some of the other latest digital cameras are so good that even more people will abandon film. We see from the recent disappearance of 2x3 sheet film and all of the quickloads that as soon as demand drops to a certain point, Kodak & Fuji will discontinue the product. I probably will not live long enough to see film disappear completely, but the selection will keep shrinking. I already have to mail order the films I like because the local stores have cut back to a couple of types, and no chrome. If I buy a K5, my film cameras will probably sit on the shelf. Yikes!

Couldn't have chosen a better subject! Looks great on my screen and I can't wait to get my K5 and shoot my Squirrels. They are already lining up for Portraits!
Best Regards!

In the interest of decency, I won't show the next shot (here) of the series where the dog is giving his true opinion of the local squirrels (no animals harmed).

I love that Squirrel up on the top of the pole, looking over his Lunch Menu! A couple of Squirrels can lay waste to all those lines in just minutes....and often do. My wife works for an Electric Company and they had four major outages yesterday, all caused by Squirrels. Of course, these were all "Suicide Eaters" from Otis' Army of Squirrels....but he has millions of new recruits lining up to take their place. Otis doesn't like you....or me...or anyone else. That's Otis!
Best Regards!
