Awsome shot. Love the angle. It really helps express how big that thing really is. Nice contrast too and like the color of the tail agaist the clouds. Guess the Singapore version would look good too if its around your neck of the woods.

Thats a great angle too. Dont usually see that that angle with aviation shots. "In to the distance she sails". It actually creates a sense of motion. I really like it.

A few shots from the first weekend with my new companion... Better be careful because DH was getting a bit jealous.

My husband... (Loved this shot when it was taken and so pleased with how it came out.)

My son..... (have others that show his spirit, but there is something about this top down view that I love.)

Spring in Venice... (This is the best time of year)

Lillies in the pond awaken after winter... (Yes, we get winter...)

And a Lord at Tampa's Ren Fest... (Love his smile and details of his character)

Around the May Pole (love the colors)

LOVE this camera. Like others have said, it makes me take a better photo.

Now the fun really begins as I learn to use it and maximize its potential.

Its been a while since I owned a SLR and never have owned a DSLR (though I have borrowed others), so I am learning there is so much to learn. Oh and for what its worth, did see 1 other person this weekend with a Pentax -- k-7 I think. My camera strap is from Disney so you have to really be paying attention to see what mine is, but most every else had their brand straps so it was easy to spy on them.

K-5, FA43 @ f/3.5, ISO1600, 1/5s
Let me introduce Little Ben, a 12 or 13 week old German Shepherd who has joined the family of a very good friend. He was a bit dubious of myself and Rufus turning up to visit so decided he would pose for a shot under a couch
