Thanks to K5 I can shoot those kind of shots without my tripod.
Yesterday it was the only way I could shoot as it was a very high tide
and there was no place I could secure my tripod on the beach and take any picture...
Last image is shot at ISO 400, something I never do when I want
a high quality sunset photo and unfortunately this image kind of shows why...
The dark areas are noisy and there is no detail there. But it's nothing
against my K5, this is the nature of the dark objects in the sunset scenes.
The only way is to bracket and use a much brighter exposure, often 5,6 stops
or more brighter to bring some decent detail into those dark spots.
So to answer your question - I didn't do any of that in this image, it's a single
exposure, some very minor tweaks done. It was a nice sunset
