Nice work! Thanks for the info - very impressive with the ISO 1600, I can see that the iso performance is quite good on the K5...
1600 is nothing.

6400 is majestically usable on the K-5.

Fantastic Camera!!

Fantastic Camera!!
Indeed! I will repeat the rhetoric of early adopters here. I'm gobsmacked that under the right conditions a 12800 can be made useable for small prints with a quick bit of Topaz DeNoise and subtle sharpening. Even LR3.3 does a great job in noise detail recovery. I do feel that having this higher ceiling is nice, yet I only use when all else fails. It opens up previously unavailable photo opportunities.

Keep the shots coming folks!

Great duck shots they are too!

Everyone has been busy posting here, is anyone getting hungry and wanting to take a little short break? How about a Possum Parts Sandwich on whole wheat bread? I can get the cook to make a big batch of them fairly fast.....

Andras,
Both photos of the ducks are quite simply fantastic, that is "Field & Stream" material to be published "RIGHT NOW". The second one is just incredible, sharp focus on the right side subject with nice soft bokeh on the left subject. Brilliant, one of the best photos I have seen here at PF...

Count me out, it looks sooo unhealthy and I think it's actually Squirrel steak. (Observe the small pieces)

Greetings from sunny Melbourne
