After a long weekend of shooting with a K-5 back in November, I came away really liking the camera, but feeling that I was unable to justify the cost of keeping both a Pentax (K-5) and Canon (5D Mark II) system. So I continued shooting with the 5D Mark II, capturing good photos, but all the while missing the K-5. Finally, I decided this weekend that I would pick up another K-5 plus a couple of prime lenses, and shoot with that. I did that yesterday, and was thrilled with the results. The small size of the K-5 and lenses, along with the excellent image quality (especially rendered color) has me ready to sell my Canon gear, and make the switch to Pentax for good.
