Forgot...my contract with Otis requires me to post a Squirrel every so often. Just as the sun had gone down, but not too dark to stop the K5!

Full Moon.

Shot with 55-300 DAL and 2x Tokina TC. LV, Spot Metering and Manual Focus.

Playing with DR



No fancy tricks with lighting here. I just set the exposure low enough to avoid most blown highlights then used fill light and recover highlights (tiny amount) in Bibble Pro. It's funny what you shoot when you have a new lens, the weather's bad and you've had a couple of glasses of red.

Hi i just want you all to know this tread is one of the things that influenced my Decision to use the K-5 System as Opped to sticking with Nikon and going D-3.. as i migrate to DSLR from film.. there are some great shots here!

I'm on intensive Continuing education with my technique education with the da 35mm macro ltd.. (life could be harder!)

Let's just say that it is not as easy as it looks!! those little buggers can't stop moving for a second!!

Thanks - the sun was peeking perfect that morning and while I was driving to a field to shoot I saw the fence and pulled over to get the quick snap...
