Thanks.

We had a great experience with a large gorilla. Myself, my wife and our three year old were watching it from a bunker guarded by plexiglass. The gorilla was off in the distance and saw that we were the only ones at that particular bunker. It walked up and pressed its face right up against the plexiglass. My daughter had hers right up to it as well. I was only able to get a couple of poor pics before about 50 other visitors converged into the tight space in about 20 seconds. Damn, I wish that I would have been able to get a couple of good RAW pics of that scene before it became too late!

The sunflower picture is amazing! One of my favorites. I hope to aspire and take pictures like that in the future.

K5 and manual Tamron SP90 52BB

I've been making use of catch-in-focus with the Tamron 90 2.5 52BB. And last year's wet fall combined with this year's wet spring to provide lots of subject matter.
