Some excellent shots here guys and gals.
I look through quite a lot of camera forums, and it's strange; even though the sensor is the same as in the Sony and Nikon, there is something about the K5. Pentax have really manged to pull the real best out of the sensor, the colours and image definition are just in a league of their own.

As a side issue, is this thread the most popular ever on here?? 1746 posts and nearly 219,500 views! (Mind you I expect half of them are Otis and friends, lol)

Thanks. The K5 allowed that photo by producing such good results at iso 2200. I am not really into photo stacking anyway...

Perhaps the best picture I have ever taken regardless of Camera but the K5 made if easier for sure (cross posted from PYP)

Wow, absolutely stunning. The colours and detail make the image jump off the screen.
