OH! Perfect!! What lens were you using here? This is amazing. I try to get the local superbs but have not had much luck, they wont sit still, and my 55-300 lens is inadeqate in those circumstances.

I just happened upon a Superb Fairy-wren this morning during a business visit. Had the 18-135 loaded and needed an extra 200mm but this one actually sat still for a while. 1 keeper out of 17!!! This one is severely cropped; it is not much more than 10% of the original. It's a keeper because I might never get another.

The Splendid Fairy-wren is certainly splendid isn't it? Tech details please.

I guessed as much (well not for the Kenko) but I guessed you must have been using a long prime. sighhhh. Beautiful work though, Adrian, I really love it.
