Great shot Twitch. What exposure time? The 12-24 looks pretty good there.. live the light inside the Pyramid.

Thanks, it's an HDR combination with the longest exposure of 30s.

Exif

Excellent photos.
I believe that if it were shown the exif of your photos, we could all learn from them.

First candid

This is my first candid street photo since getting my K5 about a month ago. Taken in early November in a crowd at Remembrance Day services here in Edmonton. Only had one lens at the time (18-135mm), so it was reasonably easy to stay out of people's faces.

I suppose you are talking of my photos. If you click on the photo you can see it bigger, with description, geo-localization and exif in Flickr... Thank you.

Thanks, I actually used a Topaz plugin in CS5 called Detail. I might have added too much detail as the original photo is a bit smoother. Yes that's a bumble bee I'm not sure if you have them in Adelaide yet they arrived here from NZ about 10 years ago some are big mothers but they are harmless.

There are many species of bumblebees in N. America and all are harmless and valuable pollinators. Enjoy your new friends!

Hmm.. we have Honey Bees. They don't have massive stripes like that one.

RE' the 'Detail' you mentioned. It looks like you've applied too much 'Clarity' or one of the Structure parameters. That dark outline is a possible by-product of it.

This guy is a big as the last joint on your thumb. If you don't aggravate them they will pretty much mind their own business. They nest in holes in the ground so be careful not to step on their nests, they don't really care for that.
