Both shots absolutely ravishing! I'd be interested in knowing a little more about how you got them: what lens, with tripod, without and so on.

I know this picture isn't nothing fancy but a while ago Jacek was talking about bikes and I promised him I would put up the picture of my bike inside my house. I live on base in Japan and here they want an outrageous amount of money for a small, unheated storage unit. I couldn't put the 'other' love of my life inside a dark cold place like that. So I did what any other true Harley owner would do; I brought my Baby inside to spend the winter with me. I live on the fourth deck in a Mid-rise and I had just a few inches to spare inside the freight elevator, a perfect fit.

Gotcha!

One from today:

I held the camera at chest level and pressed the trigger. I tend to do this more and more often, to keep a low profile and different perspective.
Focus is instant, this camera is truly a mind reader. I remember the frustration of AF hunting with k200 and k20.

^^^Something different and very nice!

This is how my wife and I have chosen to reveal the name of our second child to our friends, family and the world.

Setup:
1 Yongnuo YN560 (Approx 1/2 power) with a series of blue gels shot against a white background and 1 Metz 58 AF-2 @ 1/32 power in a 43" umbrella softbox.

Stars were added in post.

Hope you didn't choose a short name due to lack of space for letters in the picture

Probably not the safest way to set off bottle rockets.

As you can see, he survived just fine.
