I'm still amazed by the high ISO quality!

There's just no way I could ever dream to get a usable indoors shot like this without flash...

ISO 5000, F 5.0, and the best subject in the world

Nice images - my new DA 18-135 is getting delivered today so it was interesting to see your shots with that lens. I hope this will be my do-all walk around lense for my K-5.

Wow! The bee shot is amazing!

Both of these were shot with my "new" lens.

Picked it up last weekend for $40 dollars. It's not the most desirable prime pentax has ever made (f1.7 & f1.4), but it's sharp enough. Just glad I have a prime to shoot with now. Not that the kit lens sucked, but it's nice to only able to compose with my feet instead of zooming.

Nigel, that is an excellent shot, I love it!
Thanks. It was unseasonably wet last March in Northern Laos. Pentax kept working though.

Got my K-5 about a month ago, I guess I might as well show off some initial results... Nothing too good yet.

All shots are with the 18-55 kit.

Testing out the weather resistance here. Could use some cropping... The wind is pretty obvious

A bit later the same day - a playful dog, catching sticks and all. Forgot to bump the iso up a bit and therefore the action shots of this dog got blurred (AV mode). At least i got a portrait of it... 7FPS sure is fun though

A random shot that I just had to take... mostly to experiment with post-pro afterwards.
