Wow , there are some outstanding work here.

While waiting for my K5 I've been satisfying my obsession with a P&S Canon whilst anxiously waiting for my K5 I hope you lot don't mind

Somehow I like the B&W version more.

So I had read you can use a lens mounted backwards with an adapter for macros. I jumped at this because I have some canon lens that are all manual and really aren't worth much from what I can tell.

This shot was with iso 80 3200 shutter speed and the aperture wide open as I've yet to figure out how t manually stop it down more. It's a Canon 50mm 1.8

The subject is an Aster called the Wonder of Staffa.

The adapter cost me around 6 bucks.. I bought it off of eBay.

My wife asked me to take some photos of the garden and I was pleasantly surprised to find some hummers. No pics of the garden where taken today..All handheld and CC is always welcome..
