Nothing fancy, just a simple leaf to show how sharp the SMC-A 50/1.7 is.
Nice display. I just came across a copy of this lens, for dirt cheap, and it is good to see what it is capable of.

Wonderful copy I have. Super smooth focus ring and sharp wide open.

Wow, so many fantastic photos! Hard to follow but I guess even amateurs are allowed anyway.

Male tiger (T28)

Male tiger (T28)

Indian Jackal

Just a few pictures from the other day in Ranthambore National Park. I am very lucky having to go there often in my work. Pentax K5 and the Sigma 50-500 OSM. This combination is fantastic for wildlife where the animals are moving from far distance to very close. In this case I first spotted the tiger over 100 meters away and it got as close as 2 meters from my open vehicle.

That first shot of yours is stellar. I like the others but that one stands out.

It has composition and artistry included with a great subject.

Beautiful captures of both the tiger and the jackal.

A photo from last year. I haven't really been shooting in a long time.
Three girls, fraternal triplets actually, went off to play in the ocean and left their shoes on a wall to stay dry and clear of sand...

K-5 and 77mm:
