Rondec-- I forgot to ask, what filters do you find useful for your DA15 landscape work? I'm assuming a simple UV rather than a polarizing filter for the lake shot?

No filters. The only filter I would use with a DA 15 would be an ND filter, if I wanted to have a slower shutter speed. But otherwise, they just tend to create flare.

Excellent, that's great to know. (BTW, I have a used K5 and DA21 coming from Adorama next week--I'll try not to bug y'all as I slam my forehead repeatedly against the steep end of the learning curve.)

Wonderful, wonderful pics! These inspire me to do some macro flower shots this weekend. I hope l come up with some decent results.
