Frederic-- Wonderful work... I'm curious about the first picture of the chapel--did you do all your post-processing in Adjust 5? I just bought the discounted plug-in myself, so I'm very interested how other people are incorporating it into their workflow--especially for landscapes such as this one where you might have had to bring back the details in the clouds.

At any rate, that's a beautiful part of the world--my wife and I were in Trier a couple of years back, and I could definitely see myself "photographing" my way up the Mosel valley.

Thank you CreationBear and Jean !

I use Adjust 5 and the whole bundle. First I remove noise with DeNoise, then I adjust the contrast curves with Corel PaintShop Pro X6 and finally I use Adjust or Detail or Clarify...

Excellent, that seems like a winning combination.

Salut Frédéric,

I had kind of the same question(s), too ... dang, you are miles and miles ahead of me (only LR4) ... and it shows so well in your images! J

LR4 (in combination with NIK filters) can provide some good results as well Though I must admit that the constant provision of high quality pictures by Frederic IS impressive!

Sinister,

Thanks for the photograph from Eberbach Monastery. I was there in 2005 while visiting the family of a German exchange student we hosted a few years earlier. The Rhine Valley is beautiful and Rudescheim is one of my favorite little towns anywhere. I liked Hessenpark too. Being a history buff the visit to Saalburg was awesome. To stand on the frontier of the Roman Empire was someting I never thought I would ever experience. Absolutely love Germany. My ancestors on my father's side came from a little town called Tawern near Luxemburg.

Wonderful picture - the tones and dynamic range are fantastic. And, I too agree that Fredric's picture taking is phenomenal and epic. My hypothesis is that he has outsourced sleep so that he can be out taking pictures!
