Wonderful last two series, Frédéric ... Superb images and you should really submit some to the PF Exclusive Gallery ...

You'd "blow the doors off" of a lot of the entries and many previous admissions! J

I'll second that

fs999 i am a fan of your work and especially like the last one there, purple flower, and was surprised to find out that it was from the lovely 20mm Soligor.

I agree, FS, your work is way above average.

Do you sell your images commercially?

Star Lilly

Great Job Everyone! And I agree, Frederic consistantly impresses!

Here's my meager contribution. A Star Lilly I caught outside my hotel visiting Georgia this weekend, early in the morning, cloudy with lot's of diffused light.
Tamron 70-200 F2.8 lens is becoming my favorite lens, hardly ever leaves my K-5, and continues to impress me with it's macro (ok, close focus) capabilities and smooth bokeh. Handheld.
Eric

Yes very difficult to take, because the focus distance is just before the front lens

Superb shots all !

A portuguese set

fs999 has indeed a very unique style, which is something very hard to achieve these days!

Luis, I've herd that if you are very good in some branch of yoga, you can talk and listen to animals. I think you clearly have succes with the flies. Very difficult catch.

But I'd love to see that Black Tide in color. Because for me, sea is movement, and life, is the infinite. Maybe the only direct perception of infinite.

I missed that one ... to say that it was the Soligor tubed ... was "in awe" the totality of the great (flower) captures, J

---------- Post added 06-11-14 at 09:22 ----------

And some great captures everyone ... hydnum, luis, jimmy & eric ... TFS to this great thread, J

---------- Post added 06-11-14 at 09:29 ----------

X-post "Franken-lens" test ... still playing around with projector lenses: a Leitz Colorplan 85/2.5 stuffed in Russian bellows on the K-5 ... Super thin DOF and some interesting first SOOC images, except for minor crop & adjustments in LR4, J

Thanks, beachgardener ... I need to experiment more and try to set up an "Ap" mechanism in order to have a bit more DOF ... having too much fun playing "mad scientist"

I did not notice that it was tubed (nor a Soligor) ... I do not remember Frédéric doing that before, but absolutely super results, J
