Great series as always Frederic! Also of note, I felt the first and fourth star lillys stamens look like they are otherwordly hands grasping for something...heh, neat.

PS: I always try to look beyond the technical aspects of a photo, and many of you here, including Frederic, never fail to deliver that little something extra that makes it more than just a snapshot, whether it's your control of DOF or the crazy bokeh of Frederic's favorite Soligor, or some unique post processing or mood you invoke. I don't know how all of you find the time to crank out so many shots of the quality you do, but keep it up, I always look forward to everyone's posts here.

Thanks!
Eric

Salut et merci Frédéric ... We saw a lot of countryside and visited a few sites. Had the DA 15 on the K-5 almost all the time. (But no tripod, not this time)

Trying to learn its qualities, etc. and really liking its output. The above snap was a "wide open" test for me ... will minor PP a few more snaps and post 'em later. J

This thread is inspiring and depressing in equal measure! I'm nearly ready to put a couple up though. Frederic, where is that landscape shot third from last in your last set?

Do you mean second from last ? It was shot on the highway between Bastogne and Liège in Belgium.

Superb shots Sage97 ! The moon is fantastic and the pano too !

From a brief camping trip last weekend in Traverse City, Michigan. Turns out that their 27th annual 'Classic Boats on the Board Walk' event was taking place. I didn't actually take time from our family shopping stroll to visit the board walk, but I did manage to squeeze in a few shots from across the river . Taken with the quite new to me DA 18-135 mm:

Although difficult to pull-off successfully, the 2nd to the last shot as posted here was actually my first of the series and the reason I had to go back to the vehicle to grab the camera. The last shot as posted here I processed using 'Old Polar' in Lightroom V5 because it gave the look I wanted for its alternate title I was tempted to give it of "Boy Racer".

As always- I really enjoy everybody's past contributions and I check-in almost daily with anticipation!
