If I have to choose between formats, maybe something around cinematic style would be the first. It give me a sensation of real life.

Nice one, the second.

Thank you. In the second shot, I never noticed the bug on the wheat until I was looking at the image in PDCU. I was using my Tamron 70-210 f3.5 Macro lens. I have been using this lens for well over 20 years now. Great macro capabilities and not bad otherwise as long as I keep it above f5.6 or so. Below that PF is a bit of a problem on some images when using digital cameras.

I really do like this lens. Great range, macro capabilities and the focus and zoom are accomplished using the same ring.

Just for fun ... I took Charlotte to her dance lesson the another day and then zipped over to Poitiers' Botanical Garden.

Here some rather "artsy" images from the Roeschlein-Kreuznach Stellar 85/2.8 projector lens ... no aperture, wide open. (xpost)

Nice work JP. I see that the Impressionists have made an impression on you.

Thanks. I love the Orsay Museum ... and you can take photos there now!

So I have to head back up there soon with the K-5 and a "fast-ish" wide angle J
