It's been a while since I have posted on this thread. I guess I have been distracted by the newer cameras, the K-3 and The K-1. K-5 still a strong performer IMHO.

A few images from the Middle Fork area of Gila Wilderness area, New Mexico. Experimenting with black and white conversions using RawTherapee. Not sure if it's the right tool or these are suitable images for such exercise, but I am having fun playing with a lot of different settings. One amazing place and an amazing piece of software somehow linked together through the eyes of a novice hiker/photographer/image editor. :-)

This one goes back to October 2014. My K5 and K5-IIs get very little, if any use since I got my K3 and now a K1. This is a maple tree in my front yard that I planted some 30 years ago. Shot with my Tamron 70-200 f2.8 lens.
