K-5 owners: What did you use before?

Okay, since the original poll was lost in the recent database debacle, let's try this again ... Oh, and if you participated in the original poll, please submit your choice again, as the results were getting pretty interesting.

So you've taken the plunge and bought the K-5, but was was the camera you used primarily before?

If you used a camera not listed here ("Other"), a Pentax film or digital non-SLR, or a non-Pentax camera (ex. "Canon"), you can specify the model and film/digital if you wish. You can also state why you chose the K-5 and/or Pentax. However, I'm more interested in what people used before as their primary camera.

I haven't officially bought mine yet, but it is guaranteed to happen before 2011. K100D for me, got it on my 16th birthday and has served me well to get me into the hobby.

Had a 5D2 and a K-x. Got the K-5 yesterday. The 5D2 and all the Ls are up for auction. A bunch of new Pentax lenses are on the way.

I switched from a Canon 40D to my beloved K5.

I owned a K20D a few years ago (and Canon before that). In 2008 I switched to the D700. It's a great camera but has always been large and heavy and expensive. I missed the small Pentax primes & decided to switch back when the K-5 reviews started coming in. Glad to be back.

I was a dual-system owner before getting the K-5. I had a K-7 and a T2i. I sold the K-7 and operated solely with the T2i for about a month before getting the K-5.

K10D. I have to say that the change is incredible to the K5 - magic. But then again, I have a Powershot G11 that Pentax never dared do - great travel camera.
