Hello,

Can you hear any sound when K-5 DR is at work?

There was a loud pitchy noise with K-7, but I cannot hear a thing from my K-5? Just wondering is DR working at all or is my hearing just degraded

But there has not been any dust on the sensor either, so no problems so far.

Any comments?

It's almost inaudible on the K-5

depends on the lens used.
it is loud with DA-L lenses(plastic), but silent with DA and especialy WR/* lenses.

i noticed it when i tried comparing it to a K-7. K-7 had DA40 mounted and K-5 had DA-L 35 on it. K-5 was much louder, but it all reversed when i switched lenses.
