Harmaa taivas. Yksi selkeä piste ympärillä vaaleampi kekä, siaitsi vasen alareuna ja muutama vaaleempi läiskä yläpuolella lähellä keski viivaa. En tiedä näitten sensorien tekotapaa, mutta arvelisin kuivuneita nesteläiskiä? Eli huono hykieenia.

Digicamera.net - Valokuvausfoorumi :: Näytä viesti - Pentax K-5

Muistaakseni ostit K-5:n verkkokauppa.com:sta.

If you manage to get the spot(s) within a circle of confusion, you can see them also very sharp, even with the aperture fully open.
This also works in Live view, you can move the camera around and can see how the spots change perspective. Of course you must know where on the sensor the spots are.

Here's an example with the DA16-50 at f2.8:
("Unfortunately" I only have one spot)

I received my replacement body from Pentax Europe just before Christmas and the local service told me that according to their test it is also affected..now I started a thread about it-and as some responses suggested that the "thing" I see on the test pictures taken by the service is rather dust than stain...I started to wonder too..and realized that those test were taken at iso400 and at f16..so today I asked the service if they had already sent that body back..and as they said "no" I asked them to take an iso100 f22 shot..

here it is:

looks like..well I'm not sure really..please help me to decide!

From Singapore, Our Local Dictributor decided That I send my K-5 back to Japan last 9 days ago. Did that and he told me most prob, Pentax Japan will give a new set.

The Distributor callled yesterday to pick up my K-5. He said no more stains. I thought it was a new set. When I came today to pick up, its the same K-5...my baby! . He took two shots as f16 & f22. No stain watsoever! woohoo! He said maybe Pentax chage the sensor or something. Coz the repair sheet doesnt stated what they did.

So I tested my camera on day one, and no stains showed at f22... Week of use later I see the string in my macro shots at f11 Looks like it develops over time (heat?)

I guess they don't really know what to look for. By now I am an expert and I can spot them at once...

The good thing is that once I get a good K-5, I will be THE expert in making my personal settings. Biggest hassle is the copyright thingy , I have a full name of about 25 letters... takes ages.

Hi janneman,

What's wrong with "janneman" as a copyright?

I suppose a function to export/import camera settings to/from memory card would be neat in general and would deal with janneman's particular frustration.
