Yes, all tests done with a METZ 45 CT-4, with a fresh NICD battery pack.

The interesting result is that the cheap RD616 works just fine with the K5 - as well as the *ist, K100D, K200D.

However, on all the cameras before the K5 I never used any special 'flash' setting. Was there one? I can't remember. The K5 has the X position and I never noticed that on the others I just used the M mode; probably at 1/125.

Further support for the hypothesis that the fault is probably with the RF602 triggers, rather than the K-5 (or other Pentax cameras).

I know that the K100D doesn't have one and the K-7 has one. Not sure about the others.
