I called and they are sending a replacement today and I do hope this next copy is a good one. I just love the camera when it working, cross the fingerer's I guess.

Rick, to echo dadipentak, I hope that "third time's the charm" and that you get a fully functional unit that works "as designed" until you decide to trade it in for the latest model. I agree that it's a shame that such a good body should have all these niggling problems!
