anyone any idea why the 1.02 firmware was released ?..whats it supposed to fix ...??

apparently they don't
this works out great for me ... I can continue to tell myself I'll buy the K5 later and for now invest in glass (DFA 100 WR Macro)

Agree... Until it's officially released, installing it now looks like a really good way to fry your warranty.

Firmware update is not available any more. It was not intended for public share I think.

From what i can tell, nothing has changed.. still no manual video control or pixel mapping (I have a stuck pixel in video unless I do the live view trick).
I also did a quick raw burst and goto 19 frames before it stopped.

Im still getting used to my k5 though so something could have changed and I just didn't notice.

k5 1.02 firmware

Well most important would be AF in low light tungsten light. Any change on that?
