Pentax k-5 for $763.33???

Has anyone ordered from this site? They have it listed at $763.33 with lens kit. Looks highly suspicious to me. Black K-5 Digital SLR Camera with DAL 18-55mm Zoom Lens and 3" LCD

It looks like they have the wrong heading on that listing. If you look at the picture, it show a Kr. The price they have for the K5 kit is $1,563.

a good possibility if they are even close to legit they will be bait switch artists, or will contact you and tell you you need to buy a bunch of stuff that actually comes with the camera for it to work then be out of stock when you don't want to buy it. their domain is registered to domains by proxy which is a way of concealing the true ownership of a website
the only reviews online for them all look to be fakes (poster raves about them, gives highest rating but has only ever posted once on the review site
pretty much it screams stay away (pretty nasty terms too if you look at them)

apparently they sell a red k5 as well

Ha, ha! Another one of "these..." Wow, everything about that seller is bogus. They don't list anything on the contact us page except their "supposed" address.

Trap artists just waiting for a unsuspecting customer.

Everyone out here knows that Englishtown is associated with 2 things: racing and their flea market.

Buying anything from Englishtown means that you are buying from their large outdoor flea market. When I say flea market, I'm talking about selling things out of tents, which are set up on dirt and gravel. Hundreds of tents to buy basically WHATEVER you need.

That being said, I've bought PLENTY of things from there. But never anything photography wise, or very very expensive, or over the internet. There are pretty honest people though. You can always cut deals. Many or the people selling electronics are Chinese or Korean. Imagine it as being... if Ebay had a mall but it was outside. That's pretty much what it is.

If you bought something for instance, a new DSLR and it had some sort of problem, just bring it back and they'll exchange it for you, most likely.

I like hanging out at boot sales/flea markets but I've yet to meet one that would convince me to spend $1,500 for consumer photo product on the hope that the vendor had a solid return policy.

Maybe I'm looking in all the wrong places ......

good news... prodigital in canada (nice folks, dealt with before), has new k-5's for 1399. with free shipping to canada and the states, with a 1 year international warranty, which according to pentax imaging, (if live in the states) would be sent to cris in arizona if there any problems for repair...... looks like i'm bout ready to take the plunge..... dave m
