Pentax K 5 and IR filter

Hi everyone

Does someone has tried ir filter on k5.How does it works?

I would bet he means the JPG processing option that makes the photo as if it was taken with IR film.

If that's the case, I tried it on the K7. Then I bought a modified K20d. If that isn't the case, then carry on..

It does work and work quite well, I've been pleasantly surprised myself.

If its anything like my K10D and K7, you'll be happy with the results. Expect 30 second exposures at or around max aperture unless you go with a really high ISO. IR's pretty much useless in anything but bright sun though.

the KX has a built in IR "filter" that i really enjoy using.
