yep, me too. Installed and it seems to make a difference going by a couple of quick shots.. It's just gone midday here, so there is no low light per se. Hopefully some of you folk in the darker half of the world can report.

That's what we get for buying the 'lesser' model'.

But they might be using the K-5 users as test bed for the f/w update before they release the one for the K-r

It worked for me, almost perfect

I had terrible FF. It was useless indoors.

I would like to hear some first-hand accounts from folks who have installed it before I do the same. Blame my cautious nature (and the fact that I haven't really had any problems with the camera)

Approx. 250 pics in problemareas and no more problems in use.

K-5 is perfect now

I was going to return it in a few hours. I was very disappointed. I couldn't believe that they will provide a perfect fix like this. Well done.
