okey so i tested this flash with my pentax k-5

I got a few questions for you guys.

The flash syncronizing good but when its mounted on the k-5:s shoe

the max speed is 1/160 , in the lowest power. why is that?

is it any settings ive forgotten?

I already know its a cheap flash so please no comments about that

As someone who owns the K-5 and YN-560, the max sync speed of the YN-560 on the Pentax K-5 is actually 1/180th, and it is a limitation of the camera, not the flash. To get that sync speed, turn the exposure dial on the camera to the red X, the flash x-sync mode, and the shutter speed is now fixed to 1/180th. The power output of the YN-560, whether at max power or lowest power, does not affect the ability of the YN-560 to sync at 1/180th.
