Definitely looks sweet with that matching lens. The grip...not as much...but still not bad.

I used to need the battery grip on my K-7 to make it comfortable over long periods of time. But with the silver K-5's redesigned grip, I don't think I'll need the battery grip anymore. It feels that good.

That batt grip on the silver k-5 doesn't look that good together...black on black it is...

Someone said before that it's 1.02, but that's easily fixable...

I have a feeling there will still be some around given the price premium. I was able to pick up a new 43 limited in silver this week even though they've been discontinued for a bit.

Thanks for the pics. The silver Pentax looks very good but not as good as the stock photos though ... maybe it's missing the model on the screen :-) I think the black lens on it looks very nice too.

Oh yeah, I need to file my taxes.

The stock photos were a little odd. The k-5 needed to match the champaign silver color of the existing FA limited lenses.

Well mine is being shipped today from Park Cameras in the UK, should be delivered on Monday...which is absolutely no good to me whatsoever as I will not be there and Park refused to send it to my work address....sigh....
Guess I'll have to make the 130 mile round trip to the Couriers Depot during the evening to pick it up....

I was also told that only 50 were being released to the UK market, so if you're in the UK and want one then I wouldn't hang around...

The other option would be to use the pentax webstore's bill me later option.

So UK is closer to The Netherlands, that is a good thing.
