On the homepage of this website it says B&H is offering the K-5 as low as $1349, when clicking on the link the price is $1399- is this just false advertising? I thought BH is more serious than that!

It doesn't say anywhere that the deal is at BH. The deal is actually at adorama- see our Pentax price watch section. You have to click through a special link and apply a coupon code at checkout to get the discount.

I called Adorama though the forum phone number and $1349 is the price that they gave me.

You can save more money by ordering through Mr. Rebates (no, I don't work for them

). Mr. Rebates - Mr. Rebates offers a 3% rebate for cameras purchased from Adorama. Just log on/register at the Mr. Rebates site, search for Adorama, and then place your order as though you were starting out at the Adorama site. Mr. Rebates will send you a check for the 3%, but it can take 2-3 months. We have been doing this successfully for years.

Thanks for the info Adam- when I clicked on the banner before it linked directly to B&Hs website (I see it is fixed). That is a good deal!

For the other comments- please be aware that adorama supports pentaxformus if you buy through the links on pentaxforums (which is a good thing to do, and you get site supporter status).

Now I have to think about if I want to sell my soul and address to Mr. Rebates.... also not sure if the coupon code works without linking from pentaxforums.

In Lithuania this month K5 body + 18-55mm WR + 50-200mm WR + 540 fgz for 1900$ (or 1390 eur). Here's the link Pentax - Vilbrafoto currency ratio: 3.45Lt for 1 eur or ~2.48Lt for 1$
