I would love to have the flexibility of higher ISO settings and exposure range for so many things....which is why I finally decided it was not just a case of "upgradeitis nevosis".
If I get the K-5 I can indeed not imagine my wanting to upgrade for a long time, unless Pentax does have something else magical up its sleeve. As others have said, a better focus for them now is lenses....hopefully.
I can only speak for myself, but if high ISO is your need, and fast AF, then the K5 will not disappoint you in the least, and will be worth getting now so you can immediately enjoy those benefits. There is a box full of other fine features that are also unique and rewarding, but the ISO and super AF are the two things that make every snap a joy for me. I have a new level of confidence when I shoot, knowing I will get the shot I once missed.
My K20D was, and still is a very fine camera, the IQ is excellent, and the dependability is next to none, but the K5 it is not! Your first few minutes with the K5 and you will feel and see the difference.....and any buyers nervousness will vanish instantly. It carries the Rupert Guarantee. (Details Available
