Pentax K-5 Problems with macro extension tubes

Hello all,

I have recently up-graded from a K20d to the K-5 and I was wondering why I cannot get a correct exposure using my Vivitar extension tubes, they worked a treat with my K20d and 50mm M 1.7 lens. whats gone wrong?

No idea, I have used a different brand extensiontubes on my K-5.

I Looked at other threads about this and it seems to be a contact problem. My tubes have no contact pins, so i scraped away some of the paint right around the ring where pins should be.

IT WORKS NOW. Great

Could you please show me where you scraped off the paint? I'm having the same problems with my tubes.
