k-5 images seem slightly soft

You've tried enough different lenses...might as well add that to the mix

One of my first K5 portrait shots, and I was and am well pleased with the sharpness. There are many factors regarding sharp images, sometimes you just have to work a little on getting everything like you want. Every new camera I've owned has required some change on my part.

BTW- I'd watch that Sigma 85...it may be a two-timer or sort of flirty...it's been calling me too!
