I purchase the k-5 and a 2 yrs extended warranty.... but I don't see where to register my 2 yr extended warranty? the card point me to Pentax warranty to register my k-5, and that all?

Do we need to do anything beside keeping the card??

actually, pentax usa has dropped the registration thing. You simply can't register anymore. Why? You don't need to. If for some reason you need warranty work, send your receipt and warranty card in with the camera (I think that's how it works) and you're good. Or maybe you can call it in and give them the extended warranty number? I don't know. Anyway, the registration part is no longer required.

I called Pentax USA and asked and they confirmed it is no longer required.

Actually, a copy of your invoice if in the first year, and copies of invoice and extended warranty card if in the 2nd or 3rd year. I'd never send the originals. . .

I was told this specifically by Pentax CS when I called to ask them about the registration and was told it was no longer required.
