Lens question

Finally going to order my K5! I have several lenses, They all seem to work great on my Kx, (I sprung for the glass first, I thought it was more important, use them a while on the Kx, to get used to them, and then get the better camera)These are the lenses I will use the most

Sigma 135-400 APO f/4.5-5.6
Sigma 28-70 EX 2.8
Tamron SP 90mm macro Di f/2.8
Tamron SP 70-200 D1 f/2.8
Tamron Di II AF 18-200 f/3.5-6.3

I see that you can adjust the K5 for up to 20 lenses, Is that right? If so, I plan on downloading the focusing charts from Yvon Bourque, and going from there.

I have the manual already downloaded, now to the questions

1. where in the manual does it describe this?
2. If you have done this- how easy/hard is it?
3. If you have any of these lenses, have you had any issue?
4. Does the camera just remember which lens you put on, or do you have to go and tell it what lens, then the K5 does it thing.

Thanks in advance for any advice you all can give me. I week or so I can add the Proud Owner of a K5 banner to my signature!!!!

1. AF Fine Adjustment (p126)
2. I found it very easy, but I don't use the printed test chart method. But the live view method
see AF microadjustment for the 1Ds mark III, 1D Mk3, 5D Mk2, 7D
3. Got the 90 Macro but no adjustment was required, like to know your opinion of the 70-200 f2.8
4. All those lenses have ID information built into their chips, there has been some problems with Sigma coding. However, just check the exif of your Kx images to see if lens names are correct.

Thanks Col! It sounds like an easy task. I was thinking about using items for the check, and adjusting from there. As far as the 70-200, If it is as nice on the K5 as it is on the KX. It will be an awesome lens. I lusted for that lens for quite some time. It is so nice to use. They day I got it I went out and got this shot. 200mm hand held cropped. If I had used a tripod, It would have been 100% sharp.

That'll work. Yes give yourself an afternoon and you should be set. The only problem I had was I had to shoot through the house on to the laptop display when checking a 300mm lens

Ei kamera ota hyvää kuvaa, vaan kuvaaja itse ja hyvä jalusa.

You'll love the 70-200 on the K5

The 70-200mm is my favorite lens on my K5. Very quick focusing and accurate. I love it more than my DA 50-135mm.

I am thinking it will be mine also, But I have to say the Sigma 28-70 is just wonderful to use. I love the colors I get, So I guess the Tamron 90mm macro will stay on the Kx.
