Damn why the k-5 in China cost so much less?

I live in America now but I am a Chinese.
I was looking up the price for k-5 at both chinese site and American site. Damn the price difference is considerable.
In China, the k-5 sell for average of 7800 chinese money (vary between 7600-8000). That is about 1200 bucks. note in China you do not need add tax afterward. so this is the final price.
compare to American price after tax is around 1500 now. That is 300 bucks difference. That is a lot. Damn.
I am thinking let my father buy one in China and ship over here. but maybe the shipping cost a lot.

Another note. the price of nikon d7000 is identical to k-5 in China..but in America k-5 is expensive than d7000. This is interesting.

Probably costs $200 to have someone find the English Language option in a Chinese Font. I know Prince Phillip could come up with a reason, probably something to do with different viewfinders!

Prices a on many products vary wildly from place to place. I paid $1179 for my K5 at B&H and then got a $20 credit from Bill Me Later...free interest for six months too!

Shop around, or have it shipped from China, freight should not be too high. When the new Firmware hit, the K5 price seemed to bounce back up? Whatever.....it is worth the price IMHO.

Best Regards!

Are wages better in China for the average photographer?

Who is better off?

Is there a reason as well why everything should be cheaper in the USA?

cheers

Here in Japan its about 1000 Yen. Thats around 1220 USD. BH its 1339 I think. Not much of a difference But wait. Want the 16-50 and 50-135 as well to get started. 1256 Yen each in Japan. That 3063 USD. Or you can get both at BH for 1900 USD last time I looked. Lol. That 1100 USD diffrence. So from my angle to get the 2 lenses I could spend 2512 Yen and buy them here in Japan or 1900 USD (1550 Yen) and get them from BH which is as a saving of 1000 Yen or 1220 USD. Thats essentially the body or another lense lol.

Sorry please add two zeros to all my Yen figures. I have this bad habit of automatically taking them off before I write or even think . The fact still remains the same. I will save over 1000USD getting those 2 lenses from BH. Im excited. Also why cant I buy Hoya filters in Japan. Strange. No the Kenko filters are not the same. Also why cant I get the the tripod holder for the Kata 3n1 33 in Japan. I can get the bag at double the cost but not the tripod holder. Sheez. I am getting frustrated.
